Even if you don’t choose to go with the customised emails option as discussed in the chapter above there is still lots you are able to work with in the standard layout.  One of the key things is ensuring you are keeping the text fresh in your emails – especially your Weekly Email.  We find that agents who regularly change the text get a much higher click through rate as the applicants feel more engaged and ready to click through to see what you have on offer.  If the text is stale and the same each week it’s far less engaging.  Remember – if this is something you aim to do the text must be changed every Wednesday.
We tend to find that a lot of agents simply don’t have the time to dedicate a member of staff each week to amend this.  Sound familiar?
If that is the case we advise you have blocks of text that you can rotate each week.  This of course is not as ideal as using the Weekly Email as a ‘newsletter’ however it is the best compromise.
Changing the Text
The process to update the text is quite simple although you do need to ensure you have super user access as this is achieved through the Configuration section.

If you are feeling brave and have some experience in using HTML you are able to insert images however you are quite restricted to what you can do and it does take quite a lot fiddling.
