Getting Expert Agent properly configured is absolutely essential if you are to get the best out of it.  You will find that approximately 80% of the configuration is pre-configured for you with our default prompts so it won’t be as scary as you may think! Just remember - Expert Agent is not designed to be a generic system for every agent out there - It’s designed to be tailored to suit your individual business needs so please do invest some time in getting it configured correctly. 

It is worth noting that many aspects of your configuration do not have to be set in stone from the outset.  You can re-visit your configuration at any time to enhance and improve as your knowledge of the system grows. However, if you are planning on piling in and entering lots of data, you should spend time on configuration to prevent lots of abortive work.

We think that getting the product set up successfully is a half a day or a whole evening of work

The Configuration Menu

The configuration options are available to Super Users only by going to Tools>Configuration.

1.   Hover over “Tools” in the Expert Agent Top Menu.

2.   Select the “Configuration” option.

This will display the Configuration screen broken down into various categories.

You will need to expand each section in turn, using the > button next to each one.
