The NRL Tax screen will show you all the NRL Tax deductions that you have made from your landlord payments. You can use this section to work out how much you should be transferring to HMRC on behalf of your landlords and record that you have made said payment.Â
As with other payments, the screen is accessed via the top Finance Menu and Payments.Â
This will open the NRL Tax Payments window. The screen will load blank and you will have to make your relevant selections before generating the report which will list all tax deductions that you have made; showing you the landlord's details, tax amount etc:
1. This will allow you to record the date you have made/are making the payment.
2. Choose which branch you would like to process payments for and which bank account you will be making the payments from.
3. Select the date range for the period your payment will cover.
4. Click 'Generate' to load the payments.Â
5. Once generated you will be able to tick the box against payments you would like to include. (You can use the Select All or Deselect All buttons for this also).
6. 'Pay Tax' will confirm your payment selection.
Â
The next screen that opens will be the Payments to Make Report.
Â
Once processed, you can use the Non-Resident Landlord (NRL) Tax Report to complete your returns.
