The Nominal Report functions allows you to see a detailed list of transactions within a specified date range for a particular nominal ledger or a selection of nominal ledgers.Â
Go to ‘Finance’ in the top menu, hover over ‘Reporting’ and select ‘Nominal Report’ from the sub-menu
This will open the following window:
- Choose the branch (if applicable) and the nominal ledger(s) that you wish to report on. In the image above the report is solely for the Income Nominal Ledger - Administration Charges. You are able to select more than one ledger if you wish:
- Choose a date range.
- Choose report to display on screen, print for a printed report or Export to CSV if you want to see the results in Excel.
- Any debits for this nominal ledger are credit notes that have been generated. As seen here the only debit is for £80 for crediting an invoice for a section 21.  (You can see the invoice that it is crediting in the credit section)
- Any credits for this nominal ledger are items from Sales invoices that have been created.Â
- The bottom section totals the debits and credits for all nominal ledgers selected.Â
