Upon changing the property status one of the status choices that you ticked in configure (as explained in the previous section i.e. to “On Market”) the “Change Property Board” pop up will be displayed.
- Select the board status, date required and Action by Target Date – If you untick the “Require Action” tick box it will not place the record in the Board Movement Grid.
- Add any notes needed.
- The Contractor may already be populated with a default contractor depending on your Configuration. You can add or remove the contractor as needed.
- Tick whether you want to send an instant email and/or SMS and save. If you’ve chosen SMS and or email, a form will appear asking you to confirm the message. You can setup the default messages in Board Configuration. You then get an option to mark the board request as “actioned”. If you do that, it won’t then appear in the “board actions” report – we assume it has been done. Probably best not to tick this – use the report as a checklist for the contractor – the report is explained in the next section.
- Save.
