Changing the Offer Amount

If you need to change the offered price (either pre or post acceptance), you need to use the Change Offer Amount option in the offer record.

Just right click in the offer and choose 'Change Offer Amount'.

The form below is displayed:

1. Enter the new price
2. Enter the reason for change - this gets included in any revised correspondence so make it client and solicitor friendly!

Click the save icon.

This will make suitable applicant and property event entries and trigger the Offer Change Event Template Trigger that can be programmed to generate a letter automatically see Event Template Triggers . If you prefer to do a letter manually, right click and choose letters/emails at the offer form.
