This section lets you configure the automatic weekly email updates that are sent to all applicants on Wednesday nights.
This is a fantastic feature to keep your brand awareness out there. You can use standard generic text that will get sent every week or use it as a newsletter and make it a bit of a more interesting read for your applicants. If you are going to move down these lines please ensure you are keeping the text fresh and up to date as there is nothing worse than stale news being sent every week.
The applicant is able to see all suitable properties that fit their criteria, all new instructions in the last week and any price changes that fit their criteria. They are able to change their criteria from the weekly email if they wish. This will automatically update Expert Agent however will place a task on your homepage and a log in the history notifying you of the change.
- Ensure you have the 'Options' button selected.
- Ensure the relevant tick boxes are selected depending on how you want your weekly e-mail to send, who you want to send it to, and which properties you want to include. To start off with, switch off the weekly e-mail until your properties are in your system. This can be done by unticking “enable weekly e-mail updates” box however you must ensure you enable it again when you are ready for the weekly email to start sending.
- Choose the address which will appear in the email header, and fill in the subject line of the email. If you're the parent branch for a multi branch firm, there's a tick box which will copy the options here across to all of your sub branches.
- Ensure the relevant option is selected regarding the reply e-mail address and signature.
- Click on the 'E-mail Text' button.
- Enter the text you want to appear in your e-mail in this box. It's a good idea to change this text frequently.
