Whether the tenant is replaced in the tenancy or not, the current tenancy will need to end and a new tenancy start in the names of the remaining tenants as the existing tenant cannot be removed from the current tenancy.Â

Although it would make things easier, this would leave room for error as if the inspection didn’t go ahead or needed to be changed to 6 monthly as opposed to 3 monthly it would cause further problems.

These important dates apply directly to the property and not the tenancy. With the dates appearing on the property record, they will show as expiring when using the quick links, even when the property is vacant.Â
